| Hi Everyone,
So, I am trying to update my AmigaOne 500 and I see there is an update for MUI. When I try to update, it asks me for my login information for the ftp at hyperion. I used my same login information for when I log onto the hyperion's website. I remember putting this into AmiUpdate a while back, and usually it updates the os components without asking for this information everytime. Anyways, after I enter my username and password, it attempts to download it, and then asks me for the log in information again. If I put it in again, it just repeats the same thing over and over (Attempts to download, then asks for the login information again).
Is anyone else having this trouble? What could I be doing wrong?

Server entered should be update.amigaos.net & the password is your Hyperion OS4 registration site account. _________________ Hate tends to make you look stupid... |

Hearing it could be a server mis-configuration, lets hope its that simple, hate saying this, but "its working for me". Would make sense if its pointing to the beta server, which is FTP & requires a password.

Hey buddy, things always seem to work for you.
I was able to download and install one of the MUI updates, but the update to the MUI 3rd party contribution classes v20.5 fails due to the above mentioned issue. _________________ Moxee AmigaOne X1000 AmigaOne XE G4 I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong. |

Heh, I wish that was really true..
@all
In my AmiUpdate Sitelist file I have the following:
AmigaOSUpdateServer Hyperian account name Hyperian account password
You can backup your Sitelist file & edit the server in Notepad if it's different & see if it works. I've noticed that the AmiUpdate prefs server name & what Sitelist saves are different, always confused me._________________ Hate tends to make you look stupid... |

The problem is in the file, it's a PGP encrypted file. so it needs a password.
Someone forgot to decrypt.

Heard the server config is wrong & their working on it now, time zone issues, so may take longer then we like. I do have a pgp key, maybe thats why it works for me. _________________ Hate tends to make you look stupid... |

Same problem here.
3rd Party Contrib - MUI-4.o-os4-20140202-svn calls for a login request!!!! What a bummer.
Hope they get this fixed soon.

Oh, well no wonder.
I had one ages ago on one of my OS3 machines.

Are you drunk ?
What is the goal of telling someone who is having problems updating his system that he bought "pure shit" and that he has to buy a Sam440 instead of Sam460 ?
And why telling him this in Spanish ?
And BTW the AmiUpdate trouble with MUI is the same for all Amiga (Sam440/460/X1000/XE/Classic). _________________ PowerMac G5 2,7Ghz - 2GB - Radeon 9650 - MorphOS 3.14 AmigaONE X1000, 2GB, Sapphire Radeon HD 7700 FPGA Replay + DB 68060 at 85Mhz |

| @K-L Yeah, friend the Samichlaus effect, the job problems, my "normal" Sam460ex problems and its crashed, freezes, etc., the sensation of spent money for nothing and much money because I'm speaking of three Sam boards, etc. |

| Well. I also experienced the login request regarding the MUI update.
There were two packages...
The first wen't well and was updated. But the second one refused to be updated! Will it be "on the air" at AmiUpdate again soon or what..?

Same here. Mui finally updated, but the third party stuff for MUI is gone. However, I am glad that AmiUpdate is working again.
