New game for the Classic;

System requirements;
ECS Amiga 68020 2 MB Ram 1 MB Fast Ram Hard Disc

Recommended
68030

I havent tried the demo yet, but its downloadable, and the comments on English Amiga Board sounds very favorable.

It is funny how they market:
"Over 5 hours of gameplay".

5 Hours isnt very much of playing actually. But for me that is exactly the good point!

Although, now I am bit worried of how much over 5 hours?

I prefer about 4 hours of gameplay from my games. That is excellent. It is 1-2 evening sessions to complete a game.

Why doesnt anyone market that for people like me, or is it so that I am only one who prefers short games nowadays?

Others complained how Gamecubes Luigis Mansion was so short, I was thinking that was exactly what made that game even greater!

I tried demo version. I really like basic concept of action game with RPG aspects. However, GFX is not interesting (quite boring choice of colours and sprites) and animation is not fluid (especialy main character). 68020 and 3 MB RAM seems to be too high requirements for such game, it is clear this game is designed for WinUAE, not real Amiga (demo was packed in ZIP). Not played long enough to give verdict about gameplay.

Hi,

the games was created with backbone so it needs a 030 to be real fluid. Still it qualifies as "real" Amiga Game.

I must admit that I had no time yet to play it.
How is the music? The guy who made it is musician.

With such requirements (68030 and 3 MB RAM), they should aim for AGA, I think.

I played first with sound off (my brother was still sleeping ). Yes music is good, really atmospheric and good suited for this genre.

@pavlor

It was made with Backbone, which in turn was made with AMOS, so there's no AGA support.
With the increasing number of people upgrading ECS machines I persnally like the idea of games for the older systems with a bit more breathing room for graphics and sound for the developers. We'll probably never see games that take full advantage of an upgraded ecs machine (apart from some fps games), but its a fun idea.

As for Tales Of Gorluth, I tried the demo briefly and quite liked it so far. Lazy Sunday tomorrow, so I'll have to delve in a bit more.
