I just checked the code, and in OFS mode the FFS reimplementation won't let you use more than about 50 MBytes per partition if the block size is 512 bytes.
If you dialed up the block size to 1024 bytes, though, then you could have your own 100 MByte OFS partition. If you were so inclined, you could dial up the block size to 65536 bytes, giving you a 3 GByte OFS partition.
Don't try this at home, though. Except for the novelty factor there is no good reason for using large block sizes with OFS. It just does not hold up well at this scale. Even writing data to disk will be very slow, on account of the file system having to recalculate the large block checksum each time a change is made.Last edited by olsen on 02-Oct-2014 at 12:00 PM.

Everyone says there's no repair tool for SFS partitions.. but since you're running a Pegasos II you can run MorphOS on the same machine... and there's great repair tool for SFS that comes in MorphOS called "SFSDoctor" which not only lets you recover files safely from any damaged SFS partition but also can actually fix a SFS partition with errors and get it back to consistent state... even if these partitions are from your OS4.x installation on the same machine.
SFS is *very* reliable but no filesystem is perfect and it's prone to errors as well.. it has happened to me ocasionally.. and SFSDoctor has made a great job at restoring files/fixing the partitions..
