Is anyone using XSurf100 with OS4.1 (Update6)?

I managed to install the updates by writing them to a CD.

I copied the 020 version of XSurf100 and the cfg file into ENVARC:sana2

Whenever I go online, AmigaOS freezes after a few seconds. If I try to run IBrowse and load a web site, it freezes instantly 9 out of 10 times.

I also tried adding Xsurf100 device to compatibility list but it did not change anything.

The only way to stop freezes is the remove the interface from Internet settings.

@Ancalimon

When "it freezes", does it print a crash log to the serial port? Can you capture that log? It might point to something that can be fixed.

BTW, you didn't really "copy the 020 version of XSurf100...to ENVARC:", did you?

@tonyw

Unfortunately I have no way of capturing the output of Serial port.

I tried the 040 version and it also caused freeze (mouse freezes, display freezes, pressing caps lock a coule of times causes caps lock to freeze).

Then I tried the x-surf-100.device_030z3fd and it's working now. Although I get the odd freeze on first boot here and there (it freezes, I reboot, It freezes again while loading wbstartup files, I reboot and it runs)

I also removed the file from compatibility options and it's still running. I managed to download most of the updates from AmiUpdate.

I copied the file to DEVS:Networks and also renamed it to x-surf-100.device
