You can play few OCS games but it is way too slow. _________________ Amiga Developer Amiga 500, Efika, Mac Mini and PowerBook |

Should be fast enough for most OCS games with right settings (eg. 320x256 screen). |

What applications you want to run?
Some may work in bulit in 68k JIT (at least 68060 200 MHz class performance on G3 600 MHz). |

There are two versions of EUAE one use Amiga graphics this one does not support Picasso96 Graphics card emulation, and then there is a version of EUAE that uses picasso96, and this one does also support graphic card, so it is possible.
Just make sure to use the correct one.
I don't know if Kickstart2.0/Workbench2.0 supports picasso96 emulation, but I guess so. Last edited by NutsAboutAmiga on 12-Dec-2014 at 02:58 AM.

No, I had to upgrade to 3.1 roms in my A4000 to use a Piocass-IV. Kickstart 2.x could use the early graphics cards (picasso-II, opal vision, retina etc.) that could only display pictures with custom software, there was nothing in the system for it, RTG did not exist in Kickstart 2.x times._________________ OS4 Rocks X1000 beta tester, Sam440 Flex (733)

My coding enviorment needs graphic card (resolutions and speed) which dont mean i cannot made software earlier os versions. i dont simply then use features which come later versions.

Are you sure you need UAE for your work? Built-in 68k JIT emulation seems to be sufficient for your needs. |

Then why not use WinUAE - it even emulates PowerPC, if wants to use it for your projects. |

It is a pity.
This means that you exclude people who want to run natively your software on MorphOS and AmigaOS4.X. You force them to run emulators to enjoy your creations.
i hope in the future you schedule to make two versions of any software: 68K version that needs old chipset (and requires E-UAE to run on newer machines), RTG version capable to run on ancient and new machines, without any external emulation support.Last edited by Raffaele on 27-Dec-2014 at 11:09 AM. WarpOSEmu
I suggest to upgrade to 4.1FE (cheap and includes WarpOS emu by default - for supported platforms of course). |
