Hi what is the best available graphics card for a1 xe i or how do i spot the difference on the 9250 radeon card

9000pro. Failing that, any 9200 or 9250 with a 128-bit memory bus is better the equivalent card with a 64-bit bus.

Get a PC card. The Apple Mac cards have a different BIOS and probably won't configure properly on an A1 which uses an x86 BIOS emulator in it's own ROM.

wasnt there a voltage issue sorry for all questions stopped using amiga but kept a1 now want to use it again

The voltage is only an issue with later cards. All 9000, 9200 and 9250 cards are fine in the A1.
