Hi folks,

Have you seen the new demo for TI-99/4A (Texas Instruments)? Very, very impressive and cool.

Don't mess with Texas!

@AmigaOldskooler

I don't want a lover, I just need a friend.

I used a TI-99/4A thay had at school. Classic machine. As famous as any other 8-bit micro from the time.

That Wolf excerp looks like a must see.

It's incredible what these coders can get out such old computers. Everything from 3D engines to more colors on screen than you can shake a stick at. I've seen quite a few for the Spectrum and Commodore 64 that are amazing.

@Hypex

The TI99/4a's cpu, the TMS 9900 was a 16 bit cpu. Fully expanded it was a very capable home computer. I used mine regularly up to when I got my first Amiga in 1992.

@AmigaOldskooler

Wow, was that a rotozoom? Impressive!!

The TI99/4A was the computer that led me to computing, so to the Amiga

@AmigaOldskooler

My best friend had a TI-99/4a, I used to love playing Tunnels of Doom on it.

Ah, perhaps something to show on the TI-99/4A at Maker Faire 2017.
