Yes, it's a play on the similarly-worded caps that the current president of the USA had during his campaign.

Weather is not a problem as we're all inside the AmigaKit offices during the day.

The first day of the AmigaDeveloper.com Team conference was a success with many interesting and informative presentations. Thanks to all that contributed.

I am sorry my own presentation overrun until after lunch !

It has been amazing that some developers have worked on AmigaOS, exchanging emails, for over a decade and never met in person. This event has brought developers together for the first time, putting names to faces.

Although only subset of our developers could attend, we are hoping this event will be a springboard for future work together on the Enhancer Software and other AmigaDeveloper.com Team projects.

If A-Eon and AmigaKit have gathered all these good Amiga programmers together (plus the ones that could not attend, but also work on the Enhancer Software), who is left to work on completing AmigaOS4.2, just Steve Solie and a couple hours a month from the Frieden Brothers?

Small wonder that 4.2 will never be finished.

I think you might find that several people are on both teams.

It's not like we are talking full-time employments here (neither of the two).

That might be very true, but since A-Eon & AmigaKit actually pay programmers to complete coding work, it is no surprise that we see rapid progress for the Enhancer Software package, as well as drivers for the HD Radeon video cards used in A-Eon's X1000 & X5000 computers, and hear nothing about any progress being made toward the completion of AmigaOS4.2 by Hyperion.

Who are the programmers going to do work for, someone who pays them for their time, or someone who doesn't?

Enhancer and other aeon projects have many components, and many developers, as does the OS team, the fact that an OS4 dev is also an AEon dev does not mean they more or less work for either party.
