At least SimpleMail has had IMAP support as long as I've been using it... I even used it with IMAP for a while years ago, but I'm such oldskool user that I felt more comfortable with POP3 afterall. Can't remember if I encountered any actual problems...
I need a mix of POP and IMAP, to be able to handle privaye and office mail accounts from the same client. So I'll test out YAM and SimpleMail and Amiga.

AmigaOS 3.x and IMAP and POP reduces it to SimpleMail (which has a very, very basic "HTML" view mode as well... )
With AmigaOS 4.x I were able to set up both Claws and Sylpheed - the latter worked with IMAP as well. But I must admit that were only for testing purposes - I still use YAM, 'cos I don't use IMAP and have no need for "HTML Mails".
