Looks like I will have a Vampire this month hopefully.

Looking at purchasing the Amiga OS 3.1 on a compact flash card with Adapter.

I am thinking I need the 44 way, is this right?

Will the preloaded 3.1 card work with the Amiga 2000 Vamp, or would I just be better off loading the CF with my Work bench 3.1 disk?

I am guessing Clonato 3.1 card would have the last updates for 3.1.

Thanks David

@SaludaLabs

I would like to hear how you sort things out, as I have an A2000 I'd like to equip the same way.

BTW - Are you planning on plugging the Vampire into the motherboard socket or are you using an adapter for the cpu slot?

@iggy

I do not have a adapter for the cpu slot, would love go that route. For now I will just plug the board into the motherboard.

Do you have the part number for the adaptor, I google it but did not find anything on the adapter board?

@SaludaLabs

No, I've only seen photos of that adapter, I don't think they did a production run of them.
In the A2000, the board should work directly, but it might need a riser.

@Overflow

Thanks

Looks like my Vampire board is on the way, should have it in a couple of weeks... Just order a 44 pin CF adapter. Really looking forward to start coding once I get my box up and running.
