Just wondering why amigaworld has been mirrored here: http://home.daviddoyle.me/index.php?start=90&storytopic=0&storynum=10

Site registry info:

Name:David Doyle
Street:1 Somewhere Street
City:Belfast
Postal Code:BT13 3XX
Country:GB
Phone:+7.871058258
Email: ddoyle2000@hotmail.com

@ferrels

It's not really being mirrored; home.daviddoyle.me simply points to amigaworld.net's IP address. If you go to daviddoyle.me, then you get to his website.

Without knowing how the servers are setup, it's impossible to know if it's deliberate or not.

Ah, looks like you're right. Odd though....why would amigaworld.net and home.daviddoyle.me share the same IP? Cyber squatter or sloppy DNS record keeping?

Perhaps a clue is given on the bottom of the site. No doubt you would have seen it. But just to state the obvious:

Amigaworld.net was originally founded by David Doyle

No, I didn't know that nor have I ever seen it before. I'm not one to read the microscopic fine print at the bottom of web pages. And AmigaWorld was sold quite a few years back so it's still odd that this site is still sharing a DNS record with home.daviddoyle.me
