I'm the one on the second row touching my chin, behind the person with the striped jacket on the first row.

To the right of me with the blond hair holding a camera is mjohnson

Too bad one can't realy see the glowwhire through the "Amiga window" (nor underneat at the "front vents") on my black A1200 but the cromed letters came out great anyway.

The paintjobb on the 1084s isn't of this world but what do one expect from 5 paint layers and only 5H of drying the day/night before departure for AmiGBG04.

Damn! I'm busted! I thought hiding in the second row was gonna keep me safe...

I picked up copies of the most recent two of that one, along with a mouse mat (that I don't know where I'm gonna use, I've got two boing ball mats and one with my Amy avatar, plus that AW one, and only two computers in active use, tsk, tsk.. ).

They have proven to be really decent reads! Excellent, really! Whoever said that print publications were dead anyway?!?

I'm glad Mikey C talked me into buying both of them, I was just gonna go for the latest one...and now I'm actually considering subscribing to it, darn salesperson-type, him...

@AW team
Great pictures, guys!

Thanx DaveyD and Bodie_CI5 for the comments on my A1200. Last year I had a fat hardware modded A1200 in a standard case (it's now in a tower), this year it was basicly "just" an A1200 with B1260 and with some casemods (since the other A1200 machine have all the fun hardware).

Subscribe man, you know it makes sense!!!!

I was sooo annoyed though, I went over to sweden with some 40+ odd Mags and came back with 4 (old) issue 16's unsold!!!

All copies of the current issue, 17, sold out.
- must have been my Mac on Amiga article that did it

Or could be the sales tactics... "Buy this mag or I will call you a cheap swedish #### and what not in the next issue". LOL... ok so that didn't exactly happened but someone was Realy keen on selling some mags at the show.

So?

Anyhow, I didn't use any high pressure sales tactics, and the first aiders assured me the broken arms would heal within a couple of months.

@Mikey_C

But what about the broken hearts, Mikey, what about the broken hearts, goddamnit?!
You said you'd love me forever if I bought your mags, you told me that I'd be the only one for you, you promised that you would take down the moon for me, that I'd be your first and only true customer.

And as soon as I bought into that b.s. you drop me like a ton of bricks, and pull the same trick on the next potential customer who happens to stroll by...and you never even called me the next day. I'm sitting here, with two of your magazines to tend to, and you don't bother to show the slightest interest in them any more.

I feel used!

Those comments were quite surprising! Well done David!

I had a great time despite that the trip drained much of my energy. I had to shift loads of patient appointments around while fitting AmiGBG into my shedule. But still it was very much worth it.
