I was just clicking onto another thread as soon as I'd loaded AW.net and I saw this and checked back immediately thinking it was news that upadate 3 was ready. Never mind.

edit

I sound a bit ungrateful here, best make ammends.

This is good news for anyone going to AmiGBG 2005.

Ah, very nice! This I look forward to! Nice to meet the famous twins as well... I've met Ben Hermans a few times but never the Friedens.

AmiGBG is (as usual) the Amiga event to go to.

Make sure everybody to mention your AW.net nick - otherwise I will probably not know anyone

Guess there will be time for that

Didn't we get nametags for that last year? How about this year then?

Edit:

Btw welcome aboard (to the twins) and seems to be a quality show as usual!

Now all we need is Alan and a few "mystery devices" to show/sell, I'll have my wallet with me!

I live in GBG (Gothenburg) but I wasn't really convinced that there was anything new for me to see at this years edition of AmiGBG, but the fact that the mega twins will be there, and the fact that opus magellan will be shown REALLY KICKS BUTT!!!.......
I didn't dare to believe that there really would be a dopus magellan for os4, but if they have something to show, that aren't emulated, well, then I will cry out of joy! Bring it on!!!

Damn! This looks like THE event to be on this year

Maybe the Magic Twins will show something new for the future that's not
in update 3?!?

This year I think I will REALLY try to make it. It is actually in my first week of
vacation..

Do they take VISA at the show?

If Gurumeditation has OS4-version of DOpus for sale at the show, I would bet it would be a top seller

This was one of our most important goals of this years fair. AmiGBG 2005 is NOT "AmiGBG 2004 #2". This is a NEW fair with NEW stuff ALL THE WAY!

It's well worth the visit, belive me.. And for 100SEK entrance fee anyone in the area not dropping by ... We'll it's their loss.

To my knowledge there will be at least four AmigaONE's with the latest (to date) beta of OS4 installed. (some features disabled though )

There's an ATM in the same building, I think it should be operational. Othervise it's like 5-10min to the central of Gothenburg. Plenty of ATM's there.

I said Guru was showing the latest version, not selling. But that does not mean it won't be on sale. Just that I don't know. (I doubt it though).

But do bring cash to the show, there will be a lot of SPECIAL OFFERS in our Showcase, more info about that in 10 days

if there is someone who wants to buy something, why not use paypal? I guess there is plenty of computers with internet connection (I have not tried using paypal, so this is only a thought).

Why are they going to beat up visitors?
