on Google gmail works as it should. Nice install.

Please follow Antony's instructions particularly concerning the files that
should be removed manually in AmiSSLv1.

Just in case anybody else has the same brainwave I had this morning - don't delete #?.main (  ) - turns out there are some non-AmiSSL glue files in that directory too, and not having them can wreak all sorts of chaos on your system! (Thank goodness for backups)
I'm not at home at the moment so I can't provide a list of what should be deleted, but you can probably get it by looking through the amissl lha archive for .main files.Last edited by madtrekker on 01-Nov-2005 at 09:49 AM.

| This is excellent! I updated the AmiSSL stuffs with this Installer and
removed everything related to AmiSSL from LIBS, and only kept the stuffs
the Installer installed correctly 
Looking forward to AmiSSL v3  |

As a long time Aweb user, I'm very happy to tell that finally I can login in
Yahoo (most of the time) easyly! It works finel with the AmiSSL1.
Hey, Aweb developpers, what do you think of releasing an Aweb which could work
fine with new AmiSSL? And thank you for all your great works on Aweb 3.5.07 !

| I think that since AWeb 3.5.07 is not yet done in the way that it uses the
new AmiSSL, then now and then a complete lockup might happen and then a
hard reset by hitting the button on the tower must be done...
It's not supposed to act like that, but it does sometimes. I'm sure this will
be fixed in AWeb 3.5.08, i guess Other than that there is no problem |

Developers of AWeb and IBrowse and AmiSSL work together to solve problems.
They share information openly, because they are good people.
Please don't post things that make it sound like the AWeb team doesn't know
what AmiSSL is doing. It just is NOT true.

Of course they know what they're doing. I'm sure we all are
aware of the situation...
But i'm staying away from posting anything for a month. I hope you
will try to understand better what kind of person i am. What are
my advances and disadvances. Try to understand what i have been
saying. I didn't say i knew, only that i guessed...
But this is yet another reason why i feel it's best for me to not say
anything for at least a little more than one month...
