   posted by Mikey_C on 27-Dec-2005 18:12:49 (10868 reads)
Final reminder that tomorrow, 28th of December @ 19:30 GMT, Hyperion Entertainment, the people behind AmigaOS4 will be attending a live Q&A Session on our IRC channel #AmigaWorld on irc.amigaworld.net.

If you still don't know how to IRC, here's a quick tutorial using Wookiechat. That was posted previously, alternatively our Web Chat service is available for JAVA enabled browsers.

Much easier: select your timezone from the bottom dropdown box and click on "convert time"

Here

@thread

Please post the start time for U.S. EST (Eastern Standard Time) in hours:minutes.
Everyone else in the U.S. can then do our timezone subtraction from that point.
Sounds silly, sure. But not all browsers see these websites/functionality the
same way.

Best Wishes,

Can't someone post a countdown on Amigaworld?

It would be a really cool feature.

You'd have to use the webserver time obviously.

It would be useful if a release date is announced.

Ok. Going back to my happy place

now.

We have no weiners!!! I want a timer for when they're cooked.

New York (USA) is UTC/GMT - 5 Hours EST

But please check just to be sure

Humm, an IRC session. Isn't that where the server craps out just as they get to the good parts?

Is someone going to save the log and put it online afterwards?

I don't know if I get the time to follow it tomorrow, so an irc-log of the session would be nice

Good question... I'd like to attend, however, its at 3.30am here... and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get up at that time! At least I don't need to work that day!

@sundown

It is common for the session to be logged and transcribed/posted within a day or two.
