Why should I use this instead of Unarc that comes with OS4?

| Well, considering the description says it does the OPPOSITE of "UnArc," I'm guessing you'd use this to actually create archives rather than extract 'em...

It is not a replacement for UnArc, it is complementary. Cranu makes archive, UnArc extracts them.
