| version 1.2 didn't work in my pc. i would prefer to test a full 1.2.1 cd/dvd...

I had not planned a full 1.2.1 release, however if you need that I can look for some spare time to make it. Just to be sure not to waste time, would you just download the update ISO, burn it to a CD-RW and tell me if it boots?
Ah, had I mentioned that Icaros Update Disc 1.2.1 can be seen also as a "nightly build on steroids"?  |

ok, here what we've got:
amd athlon xp 3200+, 1.5gb ram, vga nvidia 7600gs/256, monitor samsung 2043nw.
in vesa best fit true color no floppy, it boots but in a wrong 1600x1200 screen mode.
when i run anything the system freezes and there is a strange behavior of open windows.
in vesa 1280x1024 it boots ok but after a while same behavior.
in nvidia 7800 mode it's not booting, message:
could not init gfx hidd hidd.gfx.nv
cannot open boot console
in nvidia graphics mode it's not booting, message:
Nvidia nvBase=11d12a0 FAILURE!
with v1.2 it wasn't booting in any mode at all, so at least we have some positive progress!
i hope aros soon it will be better. Last edited by amije on 08-Mar-2010 at 06:01 PM.

This is possible with the latest nightly builds, so it will probably be added to the next version of Icaros. |

It predates both OS4 and MorphOS! |
