I was planning on ordering one from the 2nd batch, then my heating system went bad and I had to have a complete new heat pump and electric booster furnace installed this month to the tune of $10,600.00 USD.

I still want an X1000, but may have to wait for a 3rd batch if you are going to have a 3rd batch. Although, I'm sure there is no way to tell at this point.

I sure hope that there is continuing demand. I could order now, but I hate to dip any further into my retirement account. My AmigaOne XE G4 may have to last a couple more fruitful years (fingers crossed).

Nice to see some people that I know will be getting an X1000, or have at least shown interest in getting one from the second production run (for the public, as this is the third production run of boards, when you count the beta testers boards as the first production run).

Sorry you won't be able to get one Moxee, but hopefully there will be another production run that you can participate in, or A-Eon will announce the X1000's replacement by the time you are ready to purchase. You know that Trevor must be working on something behind closed doors at A-Eon!

@Pavlor, go ahead and click on the buy link to show your interest. AmigaKit has stated that this does not obligate you in any way and you can back out any time up until you are asked to send your deposit in to them (unless they set up the purchase procedures differently this time). So, go ahead and click without worrying. You are only indicating your interest in the X1000 at this point in time, not committing to purchasing anything.

My guess is that AmigaKit wants to know if the people that missed out on getting an X1000 from the first public production run are still interested, and to also see how many new customers there are, who did not try to purchase an X1000 during the previous production run sales program.

If you are interested, you want to get your intentions to purchase sent in right away, just in case they sell out again. Last time they sold out in less than 36 hours, IIRC. You would not want to miss out a second time, just because you delayed sending in your no obligation, intent of interest to purchase.

So, go ahead and click on the link and fill in the required contact information and AmigaKit will contact you later to ask you if you are ready to purchase. If you change your mind between now and then, just cancel your purchase at that time and AmigaKit will move on to the next person who wants to buy one.

There is no risk at this point in time.

Edit: My mistake, if you tried to buy an X1000 during the first production run you are already included in the list of potential buyers for this second production run. I should have read the announcement more closely.
