The multimedia player V.A.M.P. has a new version the 1.05 with these improvements:

1. Support of video format m4v from Apple™, using Hollywood™ plugins or video codecs.
2. Fixed a bug in time uncounter of movie or song, now added the seconds too.
3. Added in information box the end time playback for movies.

Remember this player was programmed with Hollywood™ and it needs the Hollywood™ plugins.

Hola Templario,
I have a lot of MOV files recorded with an iPhone.
i can't read them with MPlayer (sound OK but blurred video)

Is VAMP, under OS4, able to read MOV files ?

Thank you
(sorry I can't try for the moment, I'm not beside of my Amiga)

Thanks for your question, the answer is very easy, yes and no, yes because using the Hollywood plugins VAMP plays mov files but not because Hollywood and VAMP crashed the system sometimes and if the video size is very big the playing is very slow. But tested under MorphOS with my MacMini, yes, the problems with sizes and speed is very common in all systems.

I need a german translator to make the messages for this language, or other translators for other languages.

Tested my iPhone MOV files with VAMP
Unfortunately it's too much slow.

Contrary to MPlayer, video and sound are played but it's really slow despite the fact that my CPU is only at 15% during the play.

Sadly, I will have to use ffmpeg to convert these MOV videos.

Never tried VAMP before, it's a nice player !
