I agree Orgin, I'm looking forward to buying this game to run on OS4 .

BTW, I'm impressed that Hyperion still find time to support their other products. Great work guys .

I already have this game, but cant play it at a decent speed on my A4000 PPC, as I cant be bothered getting a decent graphics card for 3d.

Looks like I will just have to wait for OS 4 and then try it again on that. Then I can try out all these addons they have released for it.

It seems Hyperion are actually more people than everyone assumes (of course, as always assume makes an ass of u and me).

Anyway, YEP, I'm eager to buy this game and try it out on OS4. If I live to see the day OS4 is released, hint hint

AFAIK, this is no Hyperion project. It's done by Ricco Clemens. So we can't claim credit for that

My bad I have made a small alteration to the news article body text to reflect that now.

No problem. If I get enough mails I'll make a english version of the Descent: Freespace homepage, too. If you want this, then write a mail to freespace@amigalien.de .

By the way I need some beta testers for MODS. I have a complete MOD with new ships, weapons, sounds and so on :)

Have a nice day.

Is Freespace any good?? I've never even seen the PC version, but it would be kinda kewl to buy it, if it's a neat game. I'm not much of a shooter fan....well, I LOVED Duke Nukem....

@ Rogue

Hey, you guys said that you have a Quake2 port for 68k on your CD. Will it run on Amithlon, or is it still broken?? I have a PC version, but I'll buy a copy of yours, if I know for sure that it will run.

@ Convincer

Web address, please? I don't read german (only engrish and some mandarin). I wanna see pics.

I played Decent, so I know its some sort of space ship game, but I never even looked at Freespace. I feel pretty sheepish now.
