Considering that you've never expressed any interest in actually buying anything that Amiga Inc, Hyperion or Eyetech sells, one has to wonder why you believe you're being b*llsh*tted. |
I'm in the audience when these people make their statements; that's all. I was keen on Amiga at one time. I'm in the same position as other people who might be potential customers. I didn't see a disclaimer on Mr. Hare's interview or Fleecy's column or Bill McEwen's updates that only customers or potential customers should read them. Is there a different standard of integrity depending on who's listening?

Could it be you're trying to goad people, so they'll slip up and say something that's covered by an NDA they have with KMOS? it would definitely help your friends at Genesi, would it not? |
I'm not trying to goad anyone. I posted my questions here in response to the topic: what questions would I like Mr. Hare to answer. I'm interested in his answers at AmiWest, so there's no need for anyone else to say something that we wouldn't know whether to believe or not anyway.
No, I don't think Genesi is particularly interested in KMOS or the Amiga market any more; at best they might get a chuckle out of anything he'd have to say. You know how Genesi is pushing Pegasos mainly as a Linux platform these days; that's where they're getting some real sales. I think they've finally concluded that there's no payoff in fighting with Amiga, Inc. for the remaining scraps here. In this market, people pretty much know what the Pegasos and MorphOS are, what apps are available, what the userbase looks like, etc. People have their reasons for buying the AmigaOne/AOS4, and these reasons are generally not affected by something like a cold A1-Pegasos product comparison. In that sense, I don't think it matters much to Genesi what Mr. Hare says at this point (though they may want him to check on that AmigaDE port that the court required of Amiga, Inc. ).
