Good job! Running offline HTML5 stuff could also bring many new apps to Amiga/AROS/MOS. _________________ AROS Broadway - AEROS - Aminux - AmiCloud - indieGO! Appstore - AmiWallet - VAN lossless video codec - AMC Amiga media Center -KrypUnite - LibertyNet - MinX - amigaNX |

I also have a problem launching because tbimages/normalcursor_s and a message saying I should update AISS. (how? Where?)

Looks good, have installed it but when I click on an icon MUIOWB looads but not the page, the usual opening page shows, is there something I need to set up? Same thing happens when I click on a link within a mail with Simplemail even though I think I haver set up open url correctly! _________________ SAM 460 with 2GB or RAM, 1000GB HD, 4 port SATA, DVDRW drive and Radeon HD 4650 GFX card. |

I think must be configured in OpenURL Prefs, but I don't know the Arexx commands, maybe Amigang can help us. |

Really cool software!! Some suggestions for the future. This is typically the type of app you want to have always on the desktop. For this purpose, I think the size of the window is a little too big. I would reduce the size of the icons or put less icons on a page. I would also add arrows to navigate left and right and switch pages. And finally, I would suggest adding YouTube and Pouet link. Anyway, really nice

Thanks for all trying out my little app, I will try and address any issue and suggestions you have for the next version.
Point one is that you don't actually need the Hollywood player lib, I thought I read in the docs that you did for Hollywood program's to run but actually its just for binary files. my bad.
Point two, the openurl, I thought was part of the OS, as it was already set up on my system any way. If anyone haven't got it then grab the file here http://sourceforge.net/projects/openurllib/ Inside that program should be a pref setting to set up things like what browser to use. I wish I could help more and share the setting I have, but I'm not on my Amiga at the moment, sorry, hope this helps.

Just a little suggestion: Don't depend on AISS being installed. Not everyone uses it and your app won't run on "normal" machines.

Can't get amiPAD 2 to work. How do I configure openURL so this will work?
Thanks,

I love the idea of this Hollywood program you have made. I will try it out as soon as I have some extra time (too many projects and not enough time and energy to do them all).
Please provide a comprehensive installer that takes care of all file & library dependencies (like Grunch does on MorphOS3.x and is supposed to do on any other OS that it supports, if the database authors read and use the provided documentation properly).
It would be great is I could just double click on an installer script and have Amipad2 install itself and everything else that is needed, plus do all of the configuration for me. Then all I would have to do is run it and it would work. That is what I love about Grunch on MorphOS3.x and wish that all AmigaOS3.x, AmigaOS4.x and AROS programs were like, so I hope that Grunch gets more support for all platforms, as it is a really great utility and once you use it, you never want to go back to using any other way to install, uninstall, or update all of your programs.
Great job on Amipad2. I can't wait to try it out on my X1000. _________________ Amiga! The computer that inspired so many, to accomplish so much, but has ended up in the hands of . . . . . . . . . . |

Thanks for the link. Got it working...mostly I think. I would love it if:
1) Selecting an additional icon in AmiPad would simply open a new tab/window in MUIOWB instead of a whole ne instance of OWB opening. 2) The interface for Amipad was smaller (about 25% of the current size) 3) The interface for Amipad could remain on the desktop in "sticky" mode, that is remain wherever you stuck it.
Great program though.....I like it!
