CryEngine3 on PS3 and 360:

IMO forest, mountain and water sections looked great on both systems, PS3 version looked better to me though.

But especially the urban areas on the 360 looked far too cartoony and the section with soldiers looked remarkably unimpressive to me (I assume they are similar on the PS3 as well..... hope not..., it lacked polish and wow factor), especially when compared to Killzone 2 in terms of animations, light sources, atmosphere, special effects and such.

Where is Killzone2's nature scene?

CryEngine3 features (PC, X360, PS3).
1. Real Time Dynamic Global Illumination. No pre-computation or geometric limits.
2. Deferred Lighting. Lights via deferred rendering methods.
3. Natural Lighting and Dynamic Soft Shadows.
4. Volumetric, Layer & View Distance Fogging. Clouds, smoke, visible gases, fog banks. Interaction with dynamic lights and shadows.
5. Normal Maps & Parallax Occlusion Maps.
6. Screen Space Ambient Occlusion.
7. Eye Adaptation and HDR Lighting.
8. Pristine Motion Blur & Depth of Field.
