| Does the Sam440EP come with the adapter plate for the back of the mini-itx case?
If so, what other things come in the package?

What's with all Amiga OS mb makers and not providing a IO shield plate??? 
This is REALLY crappy IMO. Why should third party or even end users have to
fix this themselves??? This SHOULD be made by ACube!!!!

Normally cases come with backplates that support standard I/O port configurations for correlating motherboards (ITX, ATX, etc.). Is there something different about the SAM so that these will not work? _________________

Thats correct new cases come with a standard io port cover, however many motherboards do not have standard io ports and come with io port covers to suite,
The Sam motherboard seems not to have th standard io port layout and should come with its own io port cover. One has to ask at the cost of the board why is one not provided as standard. Maybe Acube will address this small issue if enough of us let them know we require the cover.  |

AFAIK Acube will be providing them (when they are done ), don't know why it is not delivered with the MB yet. It's true that with the price of the board it should not be up to the enduser to provide it. _________________

They really need to issue a clarification, because at the moment I may delay any Sam440 purchase. (One would hope that they'd make backplates available to existing Sam owners at a cheap price - say £5 inc P&P.) _________________

Check out the ACube Q&A where it says they are working on a backplate now.

The dealer may charge you a shipping charge but should not charge you for the backplate
