The download area of the Amiga Future was updated today. So, you can now find the following full versions online:

Boombox

http://www.amigafuture.de/downloads.php

An overview of the recent uploads and changes to the download database of Amiga Future is also available from this link:

http://www.amigafuture.de/dl_recent.php

Of course we also want to be able to offer you many more full versions online, but to be able to achieve this, for you, we need your help, so ...

We are on the lookout for the Copyright holders for Amiga games and applications.
Do you know of any such person or can you actively help us in our search?
If so, then please contact us by email.

We are looking for extra support in order to revise the full versions download area of the Amiga Future webpage.
In particular, to check whether all those full versions formats (ADF, IPF, WHDLoad, AGA, CD releases, etc.) are complete.
In addition, a short description, in 2 sentences or less, about each of their system requirements and some screenshots need to be created.
If you want to help us, then please send us an email.

Miscellaneous News   AMIcast - Text Interview 10 - Artur Jarosik - NetSurf

Artur Jarosik - a breakthrough if it comes to 68k browsers?

It's been a while since Amiga 68k had a good and polished web browser. Until now the most popular is the old IBrowse. Would Artur and his NetSurf for AmigaOS 3.x have a chance to change this situation?

He is also a member of Apollo Team (Vampire), a beta tester of AmiKit and much more!

News   Next FCUG meeting - Sunday, August 20
News posted by RobertB on 16-Aug-2017 9:36:42 (1199 reads)
Happy, hot August nights, C= and Ami aficionados!

The Fresno Commodore User Group has its next meeting from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 20 at --

Bobby Salazar's Mexican Restaurant
2839 North Blackstone Ave. (corner of Blackstone and Michigan)
Fresno, California
(559) 227-1686

For discussion the topic is the July 29-30 Commodore Vegas Expo; we'll go over how the show went. And there will be CommVEx goodies to give away! We'll also talk about the October 21-22 Amiwest Show in Sacramento.

On the hardware side, we'll examine the recently acquired Commodore PC20-III which came from the Sacramento Amiga Computer Club, the host for Amiwest.

In software, we'll play around with the C64 Forever 2017 CD and the Amiga Forever 2017 DVD's. We'll also have fun with the competition game of CommVEx, the classic C64 game, "Ringside Boxing", from the 1988 special issue of Compute!'s Gazette. At the July meeting we were so busy with testing out member David's C64 system that we didn't get to many of that month's software presentations; those remaining are the VIC-20 Meteor Wave, VIChaos, and VIC-20 Doom; the Plus/4 Botticelli Bilderdisk 42 art disk; and the C64/C128 plus SuperCPU -- RAY, Wolfenstein 3D, and Doom. Let's see how many we can get to this time.

I'll be seeing C= repair tech Ray Carlsen in a few days; if you need anything repaired, give it to me and I'll give it to Ray. Finally, for those members who attend the meeting, start thinking about what you want from Europe! :)

Truly,
Robert Bernardo

Hardware News   Amedia Computer News and Announcement !
Hardware News posted by Faranheit on 16-Aug-2017 6:52:00 (1464 reads)
Hi all Amiga fans here ;)

After some times without informations, we're here again with some good news !

For Amiga 500, we have received some very interesting HC508 boards which include a 68HC000 processor overclocked at 50MHz, 8MB of Fast memory, one Compact Flash slot and one second 3.5 inch IDE connector, and 512KB of flash memory for copying a 3.1 kickstart file for example (file NOT included, flash tool INCLUDED).
This board is sold at 189,90 euros (with 20% french VAT, automatically removed for countries outside Europe on the webshop) HERE.
N.B. : there is no dedicated case for this board, but we have tried with the Crystal+ case for Minimig's boards and this suits great !

For Amiga 1200 and Amiga 4000D (desktop), we have received some ScanPlus AGA boards which are designed for connecting the Amiga on a flat screen with a VGA connector.
This board can't be flashed like the Indivision AGA but it is a very good board according to its price of 119,90 euros (with 20% french VAT included) toward 169 euros for the Indivision AGA. Also, the ScanPlus AGA is sent with a blackplate for Amiga 1200 in order to ease its integration in the original desktop Amiga 1200 case. You can order it HERE.

For one time, a new IDE board appears for Amiga 2000 : the IDE4 !
Effectively, the Amiga 2000 has just a very few possible extension and the conceptor of the two previous boards has released this new IDE controler for Amiga 2000 !
It is sold at 104,90 euros (with 20% french VAT included) HERE.
N.B. : there is a huge demand on this board, and we have a 3 to 5 weeks pre-order list, so, please be patient when ordering !

Now, a very special announcement !

- The prices of these complete configurations have fallen too (for about 5,5%) : prices are now from 2099 euros (with 20% french VAT included, automatically removed for countries outside Europe on the webshop) to 2239 euros (with 20% french VAT included) instead of 2369 euros before !
- Motherboards only price have also fallen to 1699 euros (with 20% french VAT included) instead of 1799 euros !
- Also, in order to receive a complete configuration with some other software than only AmigaOS 4.1 installed, the Software Enhancer PLUS and Personnal Paint are now freely provided and installed (applicable for motherboards only too) !
- Amedia Computer also offers a free Amiga game for all complete configuration order ;)
- And the last point (but not the least) : in order french people can have an easier access to this great high end product, we'll propose a three times payment (without fees, offer subject to conditions, hardware sent 8 / 15 days after receving first payment).
This last point has been the most important for us and for all our french customers !

Complete configurations page can be found HERE and motherboard only page order can be found HERE.

We always make our best for proposing more and more products and services on our webshop !

Don't hesitate following us on our Facebook page (Amedia.Computer) where you can contact us directly too (Amedia Laurent).
