| IBM and Infineon Technologies AG announced that the companies have developed the most advanced Magnetic Random Access Memory (MRAM) technology to date. MRAM allows data to be kept in memory even while the computer is turned off. This new type of RAM should result into ?instant on' computers, allowing users to turn computers on and off as quickly as a light switch.

IDC: Solid First Quarter Does Little to Boost PC Market Outlook |

| According to the IDC PC sales will increase to 145,2 million this year, an increase of 6% and for 2004 10.3% growth is expected. SARS and limited economic improvement have however reduced the IDC's outlook for the second half of the year.
