Carles Bernardez, the organiser for the CatCon 2K3 party announced recently:
The 3rd edition of our Amiga party is here. You can espect the typical Demoscene competitions, and the presence of some Amiga related Companies. The Party will be held on 3rd and 4th of May in Calella, a touristic town near Barcelona, in Spain.

| Upcoming Saturday the AmiGBG 2003 will take place in Gothenburg, Sweden. A preliminary schedule of the seminars is now available. The shedule includes a seminar by Alan Redhouse of Eyetech LTD. Furthermore DawnBringer is planning to release BabeAnoid, a BreakOut-Clone which has been under development for more than 7 years.

| Amiga Arena has interviewed the software development company Zeoneo. The company recently acquired the exclusive rights for the well known graphics application Candy Factory and plans to release a version for AmigaOS4.

Intel granted overclocking blocking patent |

Intel has been granted a patent outlining a technology designed to block attempts to over-clock its processors.
Intel applied for the technology to be patented in September 1999. The patent, number 6,535,988, was granted on 18 March this year, as reported by HardOCP.
