Microsoft Corp. unveiled plans for a portable media player and a radio-linked wristwatch on Wednesday as it tries to move its software from desktops to hands and pockets.

Microsoft Chairman and founder Bill Gates said the market for ``smart objects'' such as watches that can download data was potentially massive.

A new worm?going by various names, including Avril, Lirva and Naith?is infecting machines in the United States and abroad. In addition to forcing users to visit Lavigne's Web site, the worm continues a recent trend among viruses by attempting to disable various anti-virus and firewall products on infected machines.

Hardware News   Nintendo shows off luxury Game Boy

Nintendo has unveiled a new Game Boy only slightly bigger than a pack of cigarettes. Game Boy Advance SP is being described as "the luxury model" of the handheld machine. It is scheduled to launch across Europe on March 28, priced around £90.

As you all will probably guessed by now, I am a avid retro gamer, simply because I find the older games more enjoyable than the new besides a few major titles like ID`s Doom 3. But we must not forget where these games originally came from and that is our beloved Amiga. It seems to me there is a trend of clone-ing Amiga Games back onto Pc Warbalde is another example of a remake Deluxe Galaga from Amiga. Check it out @Warblade
