DVPlayer Installation 
(Read 4429 times) | To install DVPlayer, first download the demo from the main site:

Extract the archive somewhere and use the installer to install DVPlayer.
Then get the following archives from os4depot.net:
avcodec library
a52 library
dca codec
Extract and copy the avcodec library to your LIBS: directory.
Create an avcodecs directory in LIBS:
Extract the a52_lib.lha file and copy the a52.library into libs:avcodecs
Extract the dca_codec.lha file and copy dca.codec into the libs:avcodecs directory.
The above process will allow you to listen to the sound on most DVD's (AC3).
If you want to view Encrypted DVD's you will need to get the following archive:
libdvdcss
Extract this file and copy the dvdcd.plugin into the plugins directory in the location you installed DVPlayer to. This will copy over the original plugin, so take a backup before copying.
To watch a DVD simply insert the DVD in your DVD drive, start DVPlayer and click Project Open DVD/CD and the DVD will play.
