Since Enhancer Software v1.3, a new tool called Updater has been added which allows periodic updates of the components in the Enhancer Software.

The new Polygon Mode has been added to Warp3D Nova and OpenGL2 library

Version 1.43 - 2017/08/03
- Implemented the GLSL FMix() instruction
- Implemented bitwise shifts, or, and & xor instructions
- Added W3DN_Q_POLYGONMODE (SetPolygonMode() & GetPolygonMode()) support
- Added flat shading support (W3DN_Q_FLATSHADE,
SetProvokingVertex()/GetProvokingVertex())

Version 1.42 - 2017/07/17
- Nested locking of buffers was broken (buffers could end up permanently
locked when they shouldn't be). FIXED

2017-08-14:
- Added support for GL_POLYGON_MODE (new function glPolygonMode and coresponding glGet implementation),
which is not a part of the OpenGL ES 2 specs, but very useful nevertheless.
It allows you to draw your geometry in wire-frame- or points-mode which is something
that you cannot correctly emulate through vertex- and fragment-shaders.
While it's a nice feature by itself it will be crucial when somebody wants to e.g. modernize a Blender port.
- Note: you *must* use Nova >= 1.43 for this to work!
- Note: don't forget to download the updated header files!
- version set to 1.16 (14.8.2017)

When I start Updater it asks *a lot* for APPDIR:

APPDIR: was introduced some years ago and should be a "device" in Devs/DOSDrivers.

APPDIR: keeps a cache of often-used commands and where they can be found, saving a slow lookup of the "path".

That only applies to the latest beta version. All public versions of AmigaOS have the appdir-handler integrated in dos.library.kmod and mounted automatically on startup without an explicit DOSDriver file.

The APPDIR: feature was AFAICT introduced in AmigaOS 4.1 Update #1 so if anyone is still using an older version of AmigaOS (i.e. AmigaOS 4.0 or AmigaOS 4.1 with none of the free updates installed) then that is probably why they are having problems.

Should be fixed in Updater 53.43 :
No more requesters if APPDIR: doesn't exist

It is on a X5000 system with 4.1 Update 1 (I just received the system yesterday.
