So who's going to AmiGBG 2004 and where are you travelling from ?

I will be flying from Northern Ireland to Scotland and teaming up with L8-X there, and then flying on towards Gothenburg.

I certainly hope so. I've already pre-paid for the ticket, anyway.

If so (it's looking likely, as it seems atm), I'll be catching a train from Stockholm to Gothenburg.

I'm hoping I'll be able to hook up with a few friends as well (and bring one of them along to the show), so I'll probably be staying a day extra or two, which would be a nice bonus.. Of course, if there will be plenty of , I might need that extra day to....well, you know the smiley I'm referring to, no need to get graphical..

@DaveyD

Oh no! I can see you and Latex being escorted off the plane in hasty stop over at another airport for drunk and disorderly behaviour...

On a serious note, how big do you all think that this show will be?

I will probably go, finally a weekend i do not work. I have talked to a friend and he is interested aswell. Train from Stockholm most likely. Thinking about staying over for the night just to catch an extra round of beer, but everything is preliminary at this point.

@Eastgrove

I'm sure the aw.net team will put something together, I'm quite a good photographer, so I will bring my digital camera.

All I need to know is how to say "beer please" in Swedish and I'm sorted.

PS....on second thoughts better add "wheres the gents toilet please" to that.

@DaveyD

I just tried to book my ticket from Graz, Austria to Gothenburg, but I was told by WelcomeAir that it's still too early and I have to wait at least until next week.

Looking forward to meeting you guys and the fair already.

@L8-X

Thats easy, in the first case you just say "L" (means beer) the "" sound is something like the "ea" sound in "search" and the "L" is just an ending "l" sound like in "school".

In the second case "Toilet" and Toalett, sounds very much alike so that wouldent be a problem (in any case, theres a little man on the door )

BTW
I will drive down from Ljungskile to a friends apartment at Hising island ,
and from there we will embark on the teadius last lap to Lindholmen.

I did this last year too, so I know whats waiting.
