News is all over FB and Reddit etc that one of the Commodore Amiga team has sadly passed away. Gail Wellington died on the 14th May 2025. I thought as Amigaworld users we should immortalise her memorial by having the news here too.

Gail had some key roles including on the software team of CDTV and the person who headed up the Commodore Applications and Technical Support (CATS) department. Looking after developers and 3rd party hardware manufacturers to ensure those who were producing apps, games or devices can get assistance from within Commodore itself.

I remember her fondly in various interviews, including her appearance on Dave Haynie's Deathbead vigil video. I exchanged a couple of words with her when connecting on LinkedIn many years back, always an evangelist for the Amiga and supportive and responsive from fans.

RIP Gail, and thank you for your contribution to Commodore and Amiga.

@A1200

Condolences to her family and friends.

I'll have to check out Amiga Bill's interview.
