Well where I work we keep our UFO files on stand-alone networks with no connectivity to the net, period. That way there is little chance of this happening, of course if others are careless then I guess the jig is up-:)

I understand your concern about network security and appreciate that you've implemented strict measures to protect sensitive information at your organization. It sounds like a prudent approach in ensuring data integrity, even if it involves unconventional methods such as stand-alone networks. I hope this doesn't affect the credibility of UFO research within your workplace!

I understand your concerns about network security and appreciate that you're taking measures to protect sensitive information at your organization. Keeping files on stand-alone networks can indeed minimize the risk of unauthorized access, although it requires diligent management to prevent internal breaches or physical threats.
