Happy National Apple Pie Day, C= and Ami aficionados!
The Fresno Commodore User Group has its next meeting from 11 a.m. to 2:30+ p.m., Sunday, May 18, at
Panera Bread Restaurant 3590 W. Shaw Ave. (corner of W. Shaw Ave. and Marty Ave.) Fresno, CA 93711 (559) 271-0104 http://www.dickestel.com/meet_loc.htm
We'll summarize the goings-on at Commodore Los Angeles Super Show and start making plans for next year’s CLASS. Upcoming is the June 21-22 Pacific Commodore Expo NW in Seattle, and we’ll talk about that, too.
If vice-president Roger is willing, we will continue his presentation about running CP/M from a SD2IEC on the Commodore 128. Also on the C128, we’ll look at the latest version of TRIANGULAR μOS which runs on the 40-column mode of the 128. The AmigaOne A1222+ and/or A600GS return, running some of the latest demo games, such as Wings of Fear, Anguish, and The Doll Maker. The Ultimate 64 will be available with such games as Legacy of the Lost Spell and Poltergeist Hellschool. I’ll bring in the Miracle Piano Teaching System, a huge MIDI keyboard that connects to a classic Amiga through the computer’s serial port. To use it, I’ll bring in an Amiga 600.
Truly, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group - http://www.dickestel.com/fcug.htm
P.S. Ray Carlsen has un-retired! He is back to repairing Commodore 8-bit equipment (except PETs) and monitors. If you have hardware for Ray to repair, give it to me at the meeting, and I will transport it to Ray in June. |
