I have a Radeon 9200 256MB edition my CPU is is a G4 800Mhz. I wanna know Toaks did to get the controls to work, otherwise I'll have to wait for joypad support.

It runs now but the screens corrupt, wonder why this is?
Is it radeon specific?

Same here, XE with Radeon 7000.

@Chris_Y

Maybe it's a radeon problem? I increased the shell stack to 512000
but to no avail, memory allocation failure

Bummer

@Chris_Y

So it looks like the graphics corruption may be a Radeon 7000 problem. Maybe the next update will fix things.

@Rob

Sadly, I wouldn't be too optimistic on that one mate, I don't think it's an OS problem anyhow.

@Curty

because your radeon driver doesnt have 8bit modes atm (in your os4 pre), switch to a voodoo to see a ok picture of wait for an update.

anyway ...not much more to say... u guys asked how to get it working and i told ya all.

@Mikey_C

create the screenmodes needed with p96mode.

then reboot and run BH again.

@amigakit

what FIX?

there is no need for a fix.

1. the pre release radeon driver IS NOT finished (why you get a corrupted picture)

2. the lowlevel issue is well documented in the BH readme/manual , the game was sloppy put together at this point and if you have a lowlevel lib in libs: which doesnt match the lowlevel lib in BH:libs/ well then it will not run.

@Mikey_C

you cant use a voodoo driver to get past this...

you will need a voodoo gfx card,

anyway u can try again when there is a new release, might be working "properly" then.

I still can't actually play the game. Even though it runs. It just doesn't seem to recognise that I have my keyboard plugged in. Any ideas?

@Rob

yes , wait for a new lowlevel lib or something related to this.

anyway if u have a classic working... save the game (exit) with keyboard set to player and not joystick (which is default) ...might help.
(and then copy the bh install over to the a1 and try)
