its a shame but since the big hack / website crash, polls and few other features are not working.

No more Pancake Poll Questions

However there always https://www.poll-maker.com/ if you want to make one, then you can link it to anywhere.

I'd go for a name that is contemporary, but just reminiscent of the Amiga's heydays, that little touch of nostalgia. Or one with an homage to the founding fathers.

A.l. 500

Not bad with a business like Ami International but more of a model designation may be appropriate.

and these as an homage

BitMiner 500
AmiMiner 500

Yea, Miner is more likely to make people think of bit mining. BitMiner may be a problem without good bit mining capabilities though. I will also add the following which is maybe too long but has a nice ring.

MitchyMiner

It is also possible to combine a couple of your buzz word ideas.

A.I. BitMiner 500

It does not sound bad but, again, it would be deceptive without certain capabilities. I think I still prefer the JMiner if it was not a problem to use.

Amigo1 Quote:

Something friendly

Friend 500
Ze Reel 500
TickTock500

There is a Friend OS already and TickTock may be more of a problem. Animals are also friendly and the Amiga has connections with the dog Mitchy and cats (Los Gatos and Commodore Amiga Technical Support).

Gatos 500

Possible slogan partially understandable by English speakers using part of your previous idea?

"Padre, perro Mitchy y gatos? Qué padre!"

I only had one semester of Spanish in school. Does that work?

MEGA_RJ 500 !!!

A meGa brand made me think of MEGA_RJ and not the reverse. Using MEGA_RJ may get you in trouble from MEGA_RJ. He may not sue you but he could annoy you to death.

@OneTimer1

Games console for Amiga 500 games? -> A500GS

Or Commodore A500GS

If Mike+friends allow: Commodore Amiga 500GS

How about "AmiHub"? Amiga is Spanish for girlfriend.

Using A500GS would be taking a shot at the AmigaKit A600GS. AmigaKit usually leaves the AmigaKit off the box, case, controller, etc. The AmigaKit A600GS may be reversed as "A600GS from AmigaKit" thinking that would save them from using the Amiga trademark on a computer.

A600GS from AmigaKit Ltd
https://www.a600gs.com/

Screens show AmigaKit though and it is likely in the same category of trademark as the Amiga Corporation owned Amiga trademark. A Commodore A500GS could be produced by the new Commodore or someone else under license. Amiga Corporation could produce an Amiga 500GS or Amiga A600GS right now which would send a message. The RGL THEA1200 Maxi was threatening enough to the A600GS and A1200NG but it could be renamed to Amiga A1200 Maxi, Amiga A1200NG or Amiga A1200GS. Hyperion claims they have an implicit non-exclusive right to use the Amiga trademark alone which would have been sub licensed to at least A-Eon.

https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.wawd.256770/gov.uscourts.wawd.256770.7.0.pdf Quote:

61. Hyperion’s exclusive license to use the marks AmigaOS, Amiga OS, AmigaOne, and Amiga One necessarily and inherently confers an implied license to use the mark AMIGA, which is the dominant portion of all of the foregoing marks.

62. Nowhere does the Settlement Agreement prohibit Hyperion from using AMIGA alone, yet the Settlement Agreement expressly reserves the right for the Amiga Parties to “use the mark ‘AMIGA’ alone or in conjunction with other words, so long as ‘OS’ or ‘One’ does not directly follow the word “’AMIGA.’” The perceived need to carve out this right for the Amiga Parties from the exclusive license granted to Hyperion evinces that a non-exclusive right in the same also remained for Hyperion under the Settlement Agreement

A-Eon and AmigaKit are owned/controlled by the same people and perhaps Amiga rights alone could be sub licensed from A-Eon to AmigaKit and Amiga Technologies, another shell business of theirs, if not already. Perhaps if Amiga rights are implied with AmigaOS, Amiga OS, AmigaOne, and Amiga One, then it can be reverse implied to apply to AmigaKit too? Does it matter that this was neither how the original 2009 settlement agreement was interpreted or the Amiga licensing boundaries that were respected for most of the settlement agreement history? Are A-EonKit playing with fire by siding with Hyperion in this new big lie interpretation from Ben as he arrogantly moved the boundaries so far that he challenges ownership of Amiga IP in violation of the 2009 settlement agreement? If they side with Ben's big lies, then why not sell the Amiga A600GS or at least more openly AmigaKit A600GS?

Multiple businesses using the Amiga trademark for the same categories may cause conflicts, confusion and chaos but the new Commodore will be licensing the Commodore brand to multiple entities for use in the same category of products. Is Commodore entering the same licensing hell that Amiga Corporation is trying to leave?
