Regarding access to the channel #team*amiga.

It's still there despite it not showing on channel list command even though it is occupied.

If you have issues connecting, please check your entry and be sure it is:
irc.amigaworld.net

and not .de, .se, .no etc.

For the next little while until irc.amigaworld.net is back 100% you probably will want to use irc.amigans.net for #Team*Amiga. More people are waiting there for the net split to be fixed.

It's not much of a split when only one server is at all available.

To have two of the servers in a three node ircnet located what appears to be same location is not ideal. I've also noticed that the ircd nicomen's server runs is rather old and deprecated (charybdis-3.5.5), maybe a good time to also look into migrating to something more current and maintained.

If that advice is for others, great.

My post was a reply to Valiant about failure with irc.amigans.net.

For me a setting of irc.amigaworld.net works every time as is. No failures.
