BTW if this is a new promising PPC device, are you evangelizing on MorphOS, too? If not, why?

@DiskDoctor

FileManager - Thunar 0.9.0
Desktop Environment - Xfce

dpkg --help works on the system... So it's within the system path/s.

@meet.mrnrg

Why do you continue posting every 40 minutes instead of one post? Wanna make an annoying ad here? Pay for an ad. Don't play a little, silly liar please! If you want to help the Amiga community, pay for your ad space to the proper party. Someone stated here you're a respectful Amiga community member. As for what I see and read, all I can say is that people get nuts at any age, regardless of what they used to be.

How much time have you invested in this already? How much money is your aim? Just give order of magnitude say two years. You do this for Amiga. I would definitely do much myself but I would never bring myself down before the others. NEVER!

You said once here it's about some big politics policy of yours to deceive people.

Where is your dignity?

If it is gone, why sell it so cheaply? I really want to know.

@DiskDoctor

What? When? Where? How?
1) Posting new information is not breach of TOS, as far as I know!
2) I have upgraded to Gold Membership for now, I have paid for adds previously and will do so in the future when I am ready with adverts!
Bump!

Just read it again...

I meant breaking good manners actually...
You should make a bulk-post then if you've been having news 247, that's manners.

Why every 40 mins? Conicidence?

To me this is ads. In a legal sense, call it, no. But in common sense yes.
To me you migh be an Uranium Member as well, it doesn't prove anything, I say what I see.

Bump schmump you did not prove anything, something new in this thread for a change.

I really do not want to continue this. I write questions, you pick the convenient ones and answer them with false statements and so on. This IS indeed, what big politics is all about. FILTH.

I will keep myself off this very thread since I was tempted again to pop it up the hot list which I wish not had happened. I wish you luck pal, just PM me if you wanna talk, alas I'm not saying I do.

BTW those inline quote brackets seem broken. It seems temporal so it's gonna be fixed. I'll PM that promptly.

edit by wegster, fixed broken quotes

Genesi was a partner in the creation of the Lime series and MorphOS was going to be ported on it. They decided it's broken by design (well, the processor was designed for embedded purposes only and has certain limitations and peculiarities) and not worth it.

It didin't stop AOS4 being on embedded PPC 440 e.g. SAM440.

@Hammer

No, there's an issue with the memory bus on the PPC in question, I can't remember exactly. There's info about it on MZ. MorphOS runs on the 5200 as well, it's that specific CPU that is peculiar, not embedded ones in general.
