@DiscreetFX

It's traditional to perform an April Fool's jape prior to midday! Plus this just isn't funny as Cloanto the current owners have just lost a court case to Hyperion! Low hanging fruit my friend!

Missing a "h" in "Mehdi" for your April fool.

See post #56 for a semi-coherant summary of the situation.

I hope Mike now, for the sake of his own health, throws in the towel and just shut down his "retro" activities and fundings. Same with AmigsKit and A-EON. The "community" doesn’t deserve anything better than Hyperion anyways, all sales of anything Amiga should benefit just one entity, Ben Hermans.

Another April Fool's attempt or is this early Easter Rabbit's foot voodoo? Sounds pretty dark anyway! We deserve Ben Hermans?! What did we do to deserve him?!

Why does the fact that the OS on the RAD is not Amiga OS matter? What OS was Blizzard PPC running?
What are PPC Amiga games running on classic hardware doing? They are running PPC code. So IDGAF that ARM code is running. The RAD includes a memory controller like the REU's do. That's what made the Sonic C64 port possible.

Perhaps if the ARM was emulating a 6510/8502/65316 you'd feel better about this...like the PIStorm?

In the end, the person who did this port did an amazing job making DOOM look good on a C64. It's still the C64's VIC chip spitting out DOOM at 50fps.

Don't hate!

@DiscreetFX

I'm shocked!

First I didn't know Mehdi Ali was still alive. Second I didn't know the Amiga had its own Internet Protocol. That's two shocks in one day!

As a community? We enable him by developing and working for him for free, we enable him by buying his legally dubious products, we badmouth those who try to oppose him and we cheer him on. And who is he? A lawyer… kinda… that has proven many times that he knows close to nothing about Amiga.
