I have no way of knowing if the one you are talking about is the one I investigated or if it is a new one. Sorry. Why don't u tell me?

...But why would you let any of that stop you calling it:

@ChaosLord

Wow!!

Sorry for mentioning this.

The only reason I brought it up was:

1. It is very inexpensive compared to the indivision board and as we all know the indivision board is giving a lot of people problems and it costs about $150.00

2. I use it on my LCD 22 inch monitor and it gives me a clear precise picture ( at least on these old eyes, and I have my LCD sitting next to my A4000 using a multisync monitor which gives an excellent picture with my GVP IV 24 board feeding a Picasso II card) .

3. On my first use of this board, the reds stood out, but with an adjustment of the red adjust I get a really fine picture.

The last bit of the argument is that it is a very inexpensive purchase, I paid $36 for mine and the hook up was really easy (you will need to know how to solder) you can buy one pre built but it costs way to much and like you said these people are rip offs. The other great thing is that you can mount it outside your Amiga and move it to other Amiga computers as needed, you can't do this on an indivision board, you can also use this on the CD 32, Xbos, nintendo, Wii etc.

and no I don't sell these, just another Amiga user wanting to help out others, this was an easy build, was very useful to me, maybe it is because I work with electronics for a living that mine worked out so well.
Also as far as the A1200 is concerned it only shows 256 colors, except in Ham 8 mode where it shows 16.7 million colors.

Because I was referring to this:

Quote:

Go to Ebay and buy a ,CGA EGA YUV TO VGA arcade video converter they sell for about $33 to $38,

And when I researched this 1 year ago using those search terms, all the flickerfixers were garbage.

But hey, maybe they made a new model now? How do I know?

Why don't u buy one and try it out. I trust you to tell the difference between 16-bit color and 24-bit color. I know u will report if it works or not.

I want a cheap flickerfixer as much as the next person. But one cheap flickerfixer after another has been a complete ripoff for AGA Amigas. Even a lot of expensive flickerfixers have been a ripoff. You have to be really careful. A lot of them were rigged to only flickerfix old CGA 16 color RGB Digital video signals.

If I would have known that proper flickerfixers were going to go extinct then I would have stocked up on them back in the 1990s. I could have kept all my friends from getting scammed.

I will be glad when ScanJuggler XAGA comes out.

If I didn't know, I wouldn't start immediately calling something

No thanks. I already have a Dell 2001FP that directly takes RGB from Amiga (with a VGA adaptor). I have one "random cheap scandoubler" that takes only composite and svideo in my Mssiah C64 (so the previous doesn't really matter), where I don't really care about picture quality. It's there only because Mssiah is WAY too hard to use without a display...

Although occassionally I use it with 2" 320x240 PAL display
