Well, others (MiSTer) have AGA and much more RAM.
There are just two points that might be interesting: 1. standard form factor (Mini ITX) 2. Made for Amiga (well that's an abstract point) |

| Strange. "MC68000 Virtual" - why? If the CPU is tg68, why not use the tg68 cores used with MiST and MiSTer etc, and also have 68020? At least the Mini-ITX and original Minimig had real 68SEC000 processor, and only chipset (OCS/ECS) on FPGA. _________________ B5D6A1D019D5D45BCC56F4782AC220D8B3E2A6CC |

| According to the blog the M5 has a new microcontroller firmware, new 68000 softcore and a rewrite of the minimig custom chipset.

Interesting, not that many 68000 cores to chose from, maybe the cycle exact fx68k by ljor? And “reworked minimig”? Hello GPL :) _________________ B5D6A1D019D5D45BCC56F4782AC220D8B3E2A6CC |

A cycle exact 68000 softcore will exactly work as an 8 Mhz 68k not faster. Even a 68010 would not be 'cycle exact' any more. |

Cycle exact has nothing to do with the clockspeed.
