Hi all,
Now that’s Ive gotten my two old A4000’s going... I am wondering about how to value them for resale.I sold my working A1000 like 6 months ago, and it sold in minutes as I priced it far too low.
But with the A4000’s obviously better machines, but also less collectible!
One is an A4000 Toaster machine (with the 4000 Toaster installed, manuals, original Toaster mousepad still in factory wrapping.
It also comes with a Kitchen Sync board
I BELIEVE both cards are working but because I only have this one DLP projector that doesn’t support all of the necessary screen modes, all I can check are the standard and DblNTSC modes (and all work fine). The VToaster logo appears, and then the screen mode changes, and I can no longer tell.
I have a 1080 monitor... but somehow lost the cable.
It also has a working floppy drive, and what appears to be a working SyQuest drive (small format).
The other 4000 has an EMPLANT board in it... and appears to be a solid machine... with plenty of pre-loaded software (like D Paint, Lightwave, Vista Pro)...
I have no monitor for this machine.
Finally, I have a second EMPLANT board, and then a spare A4000 motherboard which looks pristine (never used).
The batteries on all of them have leaked a little... and so I need to desolder them from the Mobos... but like I say, the systems are both working.
Given what I have described, what is a fair price for these machines?
Thank you for your kind help.
