Hello fellow amigans friends,

i just bought a old usb flatbed scanner as the title says for a friend. as far i know this scanner should have worked with the amiga scan software. like my 1250 epson usb scanner does.

but no luck
any one has this type of scanner or can tell me wich usb scanner will work and are easy to get hands on cheap ?

otherwise any dev here that can make a new driver for poseidon for scanners like this one ?

Hi. I got exactly THE SAME scanner. Epson Perfection 1240U.
When I had an A1200 equipped with SpiderUSB and fxScan software it worked very well.
Then I switched to MorphOS with SCANdal and it worked very well again.
Now I use it with Linux, but awaiting for AmiKIT bootable USB pen hoping to use that scanner under AmigaOS again.
This scanner is a very good choice.

strange i have a freewayusb cards one in a1200 and another tested in an a4000
it says epson 1240 scanner on trident. but when i try to scan with scanquix or fxscan it ask for the right driver

have you bind to rawwrap.class as written in fxscan documentantion?

yes it failed
but im searching for th iousb software is it still anywhere to find ?
