@saimo

It's a job job that most things can be turned off then, isn't it? :)

So, someone could write meaningfully why I cannot open a 50MB JPEG file?

Bye,

@Stephen_Robinson

Maybe they are real detailed close ups.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

@Stephen_Robinson

Since OS 4.0 classic there is an option for a boot sound in one of the Prefs editors,
so it's not impossible... :)

@Stephen_Robinson

@TMTisFree

Sorry for the late reply

The system reports it is out of memory with very big JPEG files.

OK, I have a feeling this has been reported into the OS4.x bug tracking system, so a subsequent update will hopefully sort this out.

Can you boot from a JXFS partition?

Unfortunately, not yet. This is a limitation of the SLB, once it gets support for JXFS, then booting will not be a problem.

Support to boot from a Sil3114? (*)

Included in OS4.1 or planned?

Well, as you know by now, the SAM board uses sii3114 as it's main IDE controller. This driver has been around for a fair while, and is included in the retail version of 4.1 for the AmigaOne (and of course, the SAM version)
