@nikosidis & phoenixkonsole

May I suggest you take the AROS comments to another thread? This thread is basically about MUIMPlayer, even if it turned into a thread about kas1e...

Please?

@nikosidis

Yep but maybe they become "arrogant" after all that trolling around, did you think about that ?

@nikosidis

: ) (sign to calm down!)
I have only read something on AE about removing the logo.
Since i don't use intel driver, i have to admit that i was wrong.

Well from my POV the intel ATOM stuff is just tooo slow.
No accelerated grafics (2d/3d)
Heavy stuff like DOSBOX, MAME (what i am using a lot) is not nice on ATOM based PC'S.

AND on Amiganoid people had probems with one of the last IcAROS builds (the one which where on the USB-Sticks)
So i had to change the entry in Grub ata=bla bla -> this is something i don't got anytime on my systems.

I like your Distro. It was just the sound in your sentence which could give the feel to any newbie "ooohhh nikosidis made it possible" : )

/////////////////////////////////////
OT END
Could someone please try this mplayer build with AMC?
Thanks

but still, i cant understand how YOU can be rejected, when you do cross-compilation who ALL uses till now, as well as dopus4 ? Where is logic ?

I have never been given an answer. To me there's no logic in that, but I have no idea what they needed in a betatester. Maybe they needed something else that I couldn't provide? Still, if you enjoy something, stick with it. If you don't, do something else. If you ask me, you should stay, I want an updated MUIOWB

while, some of current betatesters cleary out of mind and any kind of logic, or even knowing about how anything should work.

I agree, some of the current betatesters are clearly not knowing what they're doing. In the end though, that is just my opinion, and it's not worth that much really

@kas1e

Perhaps they are afraid to share an OS4.x secret with your Mos friends.

:) haha , but what secrets it can be ? Its "my morphos friends" should fear that i share something with os4 , and they still not :)

All in all there is all that NDA stuff and so on, so its not like "you are in!" , there is all that contacts and so on as far as i know.

@zerohero

Sometimes I get the impression Amiga (in a broad sense) is full of drama queens and little bi*ches and rather selfish egos with the tendency of whining and knowing it better. Maybe this the one common denominator of all Amiga flavours .

In some ways I agree with you, but I think there might be many explanations for this. What would be your solution to fix this?

Joachim Birging

@samo79

Sure, you are right about that. I still feel lack of information to AmigaOS 4 users.
I guess I got spoiled being pretty close to AROS developers ;)

@phoenix

DosBox run fast with AspireOS expept for very heavy games. MAME is very heavy but will run lot's of games smooth when overlay is finished pretty soon. If I made impression that I'm the only man behind AspireOS I'm sorry about that. I'm not even a coder. All the same, lets keep the peace :)

@all

Yes, I will stop now. This went far away from the topic. Sorry about that.

At least you waited for 2 years before blowing off some steam. We've had people going completely bananas after 10 minutes. I would suggest that you don't fall into the drama-queen category yet. Who knows, you might make it if you work a little bit harder on it

@zerohero
Btw, can you plz moderate all the last 2-3 pages and plainly remove them, just to leave mui-mplayer thread untouched by that "drama" ? (including that message)

Unfortunately no, this version of xoops doesn't really like deleting posts. I would suggest you open a new thread?

@zerohero

Just do some self-moderation already, will be fine enough imho.

@phoenixkonsole

Tested it on 1.22 demo version and it works.

Cheers.
