| This is just a quick poll, just to see if it would be worth me pulling my finger out, and adding *basic* Windows support to PortablE. It will happen eventually, whatever this poll says.
By "basic support", I mean that there would be a Windows executable that you could run from a Command Prompt, which could generate C++ code that targets the various AmigaOS flavours. And you could also generate C++ code that targeted Windows, but there would only be support for (OS independent) file access & parameter passing - no direct AmigaOS calls would be supported. _________________ Author of the PortablE programming language. Poll results indicate interest in basic Windows support addition to PortablE project by ChrisH on Sep 10th, 2008. The proposed executable allows C++ code generation for various platforms with limited OS-specific functionality under Windows only. No direct AmigaOS calls supported; focuses on file access and parameter passing cross-platform compatibility. |

Poll shows interest in adding basic Windows support to PortablE, generating compatible C++ code across different systems without supporting direct AmigaOS functions exclusively for Windows.
