Hi Pentrite,

One could say that about your post too.

@Rob

Lucky enough I do get the "slang" good enough so that I really know what they mean. Saying you smoked a fag could mean a lot of other things to other people. Ah well let's not get dirty here.

It is called sarcasm or can be looked at as a cheap shot. Troika is no better than everyother Amiga company with the carrot dangling tactics, just fade away instead of smashing peoples hopes.

Are we talking < 6 months?
Anyhow good luck - let's hope it's sooner rather than later.

Yeah! Like that attidude is going to encourage anyone to help you!

How does 'Can we have an update, please?' translate to moaning about a boards lateness? Noone can blame Troika for delays - I'm sure we all appreciate the commitment from Troika and Ack.

Can't argue there. It's all nice to say something but what am I suppose to make of this? Hardware in the spring?

I think more people would wait quietly and more happy if you just gave us a project status update, so that we have some estimate on how long we might have to wait.
Also it would be nice with some proof that this project even exist, so even a photo of a prototype board would help alot.

I myself is very skeptical, since we have been let down by false promises so many many times in the past.

And spring is far from arriving here in Norway And actually March has been coldest month this whole year/winter and is so far 7c colder than the normal on average!
Some forecast for later this week: Thursday Night
Partly Cloudy. Low: 6° F / -14° C Wind South 2 mph / 3 km/h

@Atheist

Sure, but I'm not the one that's keeping hundreds of people waiting for something that should be available by now.

Hi OldTimeUser,

As Rob pointed out, even PS3, that's been worked on for at least 2 years, has been pushed back 6 months....

And they knew that x-buk-z-ii was coming up their tailpipe.

I expect the same will happen, but you cannot say that this will happen for sure...

Hi xeron, Pentrite,

Okay, bad joke.

I thought it was funny referring to his post with a total of 3 words, and the word "word" being 2 of them and me saying those are "words" in and of themselves, was funny. (I'm strange.)

Perhaps you should show everyone just how easy it is to design and manufacture a motherboard?

A fantastic update on their website:

Winner yet to be announced, until Amy is in production.

So the winner won't just get a prototype like it was stated before, nononono, he will get a rael Amy'05!!! How cool is that?

@those who moan...

Give them a break. They try to cheer people up and what do they get back?

It's not their fault that the situation is like it is. So what if they didn't exist, didn't put any comments here, would that be better?

So who's fault is it then? Is it Amiga Inc.'s fault that they didn't manage to deliver in 2005? Hyperion's? Gimme a break!
