In light of recent events is there a future Troika. Bill already dismissed them (or at least said they weren't in talks) and now it looks like they going down the exclusive hardware route again.

@Rob

FWIW I never had any faith in Troika, ever. I mean come on, a crude D-Paint mockup?

I always thought of Troika as MerlanciaNG.

Quoted for truth.

For me, it was when they showed up at Big Bash with a photo of the board. That was priceless.

I asked if I should worry about that and was told not to worry. So I keep moving forward. The production of adhesive "Hatschi'07" labels has already started and docs are being polished up. ;)

My oh my, I have missed out on some fun times. Even though you say it, and even though all the people at the bash will back you up, I still don't belive you. It's too mad to be true!

In my former life (yadda yadda, music buisness, record label, blah blah) I once had a prospective client turn up with a photograph of a large pile of CD's as proof that he had a large back catalogue of music - and would I hire him?

Isn't life just brilliant sometimes!

Lets dispel this myth here and now shall we, you are actually wrong there, it was the organisers of BB that put the photos up in anticipation for the boards arrival.

Someone took a photo during set-up and the whole thing got blown out of proportion.

Of course, it does not make up for the fact that the hardware never did arrive at the show (and it was us that provided the photos )

da Rude!

Ahhh, OK. I was watching over the live video feed, and during the presentation it came across as: "Well, we haven't brought the hardware, but here's a photo of it."

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

(After all the misinformation and secrecy about the board, it did come across as a fantastic punchline. I laughed Pepsi all over the place when it happened. )
