| Evening.
I appreciate I've not been on in a while (15 years! ),
HELLO! Anyone still here from the olden days?
I have a bit of a problem - I think my Radeon 7000 might be dead. It's not producing video output - can anyone who is able have a look at the serial diagostics from UBoot (1.1.1 on an XE for preference) and post here what you get when the VGA card is booted by UBoot please?
It recognises if there is no card, but I get no video - this is what I get with it in:
U-Boot 1.1.1 (Mar 3 2005 - 16:42:53), Build: 03/03/05

welcome back ! to me it looks more like a dead battery more than a dead graphic card... and you know that the A1 is eating (emptying) them very fast. I used to have a pack of CR2032 just in case of faulty screen signal |

Ta! Going to try and be about more I think! I miss it….
Cool, I’ll give it a go but I did do a CMOS reset - and checked the voltage at the same time, which seemed to be ok at 3.01V IIRC… I’ll try it anyway (everything uses those, so I’ve usually got a stack too! ) _________________
