The 'curry mile' is an infamous stretch of Wilmslow road in a part of Manchester called Rusholme. Pronounced 'rush home', it's a very apt name given the enormous density of Indian restaurants that compete for the student population as customers. Some extremely hot food can be obtained there for those drunk enough to ask for it...
